Selected in-house communications leadership

Leading a major campaign from strategy through execution

Selected in-house communications leadership

Context

Large campaigns become difficult when goals, messages, partners and production schedules begin moving in different directions. In an in-house leadership role, Dylan served as the communications lead connecting those parts and keeping the larger purpose visible through each stage of the work.

The challenge
A major public-awareness initiative required one coordinated strategy across internal teams, creative agencies, media partners, production vendors and multiple communications channels.

The approach

One direction across every moving part

Dylan provided senior direction while staying closely involved in the work. He connected campaign goals and audience needs to message development, creative decisions, production and channel execution. He coordinated internal teams and outside partners, reviewed campaign materials and used performance information to guide refinements as the work moved from planning through delivery.

What was delivered

  • A coordinated campaign approach
  • Consistent messaging across channels
  • Clear direction for internal and external teams
  • Integrated digital, video, print and partner communications
  • Ongoing creative and production review

The value

Keeping strategy and execution connected

The work kept strategy, creative development and production aligned across multiple teams and channels. One clear direction and standard gave internal staff, agencies and vendors a shared basis for decisions, feedback and delivery.
